fe fi fo fum he hi ho hum

ah, i'm in the comforts of abby's rickety black chair now, typing away happily at her horrendously annoying keyboard.

just kidding.

i think we slept at 1:30 last night! that was fun, even though i sleep at that time... every other night. abby's in the kitchen attempting to make a decent-sized waffle for me and meg. last time i checked, she was still trying.

meg's at the table reading abby's cookbook.

i'm getting hungrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry. AHHH!!!! i haven't posted in a while!!!! oh well. what have we done so far? we've been watching movies!!! wait. it's monday today. so... that means... that... i... have... THREE... DAYS... TO.. SCHOOL...........

i am so dead.

anyway, on saturday this is what happened: i wanted to watch elf. but because christmas was "over", elf was only showing at 10 am in the morning in town. hardly unlikely i'd wake up so early just to see a green man in tights. so i decided on school of rock (!) instead. and meg had stayed over the previous night and then plans were made and lalala we met abby on the bus and she met jana and we went to get tickets and then timothy called and asked us to get two extras for nat and sanna and then meg called peter and isaku called and invited himself and anna called abby and asked her to get two tickets for her and lauren.

i still really haven't worked out how it grew to ten people! amaaaaaazing. it's nice filling out a row in the theatre. but anyway, i have to go now, and eat my... waffles. (thanks abby!) well then. bye bye!

i had too much food.. and i have a tummy ache now. stupid salsa.

well, anyway enjoy your christmas! (actually, whatever's left of it and whoever's reading this) BYE!

tradition

that's interesting. everyone i'm talking to online now has some christmas service of some sort to go to... and i don't! hahahahaha. i'm just sitting here, waiting for my dinner. leg... of... lamb... *dreamy*

well, anyway. christmas eve! it's christmas eve!!! my nails are bright red (my dad called them bloody. what a great description.) - and thank goodness i don't have green nail polish - i'd look like i'd have bloody and mouldy nails. and it'd be incredibly cheesy.

before i go on another rattle about mouldy nails, i better get off the computer and clean my room. or no lamb for me.

i'm completely surrounded by the entire contents of my room. and i'm not in my room.

let's see... i have this wire figurine of a really cute cat on my left, this tiny ceramic mouse in front of my computer, some adaptor next to the mouse, my bookshelf poking into my arm (the wooden backing is really prickly), wooden ikea drawers behind my chair, and a paperclip on the floor next to me. although i'm not really sure if it's mine...

i have a tan! i actually have a tan!!!!!! how incredibly cool is that? ok, not very. but at least i'm not that sickly shade from when i came back from india (ha, you'd think.. india..)! and today was a very good day.

my mom woke me up at 9:45 a.m. and meg came at 11 something a.m. and then my brother drove her, ryan (south african friend) and me to debbie's house at 11:30. and then all of us (i still can't get over it. i never knew some guys were so excited about a tan. like me and meg, who are girls, but anyway) sat in front of the massive pool at mandarin gardens and got a tan. this is what happened: it got hot. we got burned. ryan read my chick book - "confessions of a shopaholic". my brother looked like a beached whale. and, of course, we all had a nice thai lunch after that. :D

and meg's watching punk'd now. i'm sure if she was online now, she'd love to mention that for once, she has actually remembered to watch it. just wait, when she gets on later, she's going to make a post about watching punk'd and how cute ashton kutcher is and how dude, where's my car is going to be on telly at 10 but she doesn't know whether to watch it or not. well, just a guess.

we finished painting my room!!! well, considering the last time we painted it was the second day of last year...

so that explains why i had to move all the stuff in my room (except my bed) out. and out is where the computer is. because the computer is in front of my room. did that make sense? i'm sure it didn't. it's TWO DAYS TO CHRISTMAS! how crazy is that? how nice is that???

well well. i'm in a weird mood now. bye!

postpostpostpostpospsopsotpsopsotpsotopsfjkasdm :)

uh... so well, here's one. let's see... meg's covered the lord of the rings bit... what's left? oh. right. sunday. what did we do on sunday? we tried to watch love actually, but all the movie times were so bad! and we met up with anna and stephen. and i got a new pair of slippers because anna's stupid shoes gave me blisters!!! (i have four plasters on my feet now) (so sticky) aaaaaaaand then we met kiyoko! aaaaaaaaand then we met austin! and that's it. oh! meg and anna stayed over :D we rented chick flicks (hohohoho) and... and... and... we slept at 4 a.m. that's it. and yesterday! we watched love actually with kiyoko (anna couldn't), and then we met up with stephen, austin and josh. at the esplanade. none of them could really figure out how on earth they had landed up there. and then we met anna! and then me and meg went to the airport to see her granny off. and this is the shortest summary i could come up with. meg's coming over soon. i think. and i'm still in my jammies! we're probably gonna go swimming with my brother and ryan at debbie's. oh fun, fun. bye bye!

i have a

tummy ache. :-(

must be all that typing.

"i am the epitome of fluffiness. please, don't hurt me."

my hair!

MY HAIR!!!

i'm a certified frizzball now. i had a haircut and it's... well, to put it nicely and very mildly, puffy.

i am also now very anti-hairdryers. they are loud. they are mean! THEY ARE BAD AT MAKING HAIR NICE!!!

maybe i should have an anti-hairdryers movement. i'll call it ... ... ... you know what? never mind hairdryers. it's time to attack my hair.

i'm running low on disses for my hair, so never mind that too... maybe i'll just tell you all what i've been up to.

which is, really, pretty much nothing. OH! ed's lee-e-e-eaving! :( so sad :( oh, well... everyone seems to be going.

let's see... my nails look like that now:

left hand - (from left to right)
green, navy blue, violet with a dark purple star on it, red, red with white polka dots.

right hand - (from left to right)
grayish silver with a dark purple star on it, hot pink, some shimmery copperish-pinkish colour with a skull on it (mwahahaha), red, and purple.

well, anyway. what did i do yesterday? what day was yesterday?! oh. thursday. right. i didn't do anything yesterday, did i? well, on wednesday i went to watch with my mom... it's a funny funny funny movie! go watch it or something. and then i bought a banana split (which was very yummy) from orange julius. and then i met meg and sarah! and then i met anna baker and her very religious brother (which was kind of scary). and then we (meg, sarah, isaku, austin, and ME, of course) walked around pretty much doing nothing until we hit the shops at heeren (oooh, that place gives me goosebumps) and meg and sarah shopped them out. and then i went to meet my mom - again (i felt a bit bad for ditching her even though she said i could go hang out with meg and them). and then my dad had some people over - they bought us lots of dinner (i forgot what we had!). and then i went to sleep and it was thursday. does that make sense? doesn't matter. anyway, OH! i went to get my i/c done yesterday! wow. what fun. actually, no, it wasn't. i had to do my thumbprints and everything even though the lady was nice and said that the ink would come out. well, of course it did, but only when i got home (which was 8:30 pm) and soaked my thumbs in grape-ish soap for five minutes. five minutes!!! all gone to black ink that wouldn't come out!!! ha-ha-ha. anyway i went to little india after doing my stupid i/c and i felt so triumphant, you know, being to BIG india. but anyway did you know that mustafa centre has a really good supermarket? bet you didn't. ha. uh... what did i do after that? i had dinner. which was nice. and then i went home. ah, yes, that's all. and then i slept and then it was friday. which (oh, look, isn't that nice) is today. as in now. isn't that just awesome? sorry, it must be my lunch acting up. oh! another thing that happened last night: i got this huge slash on my arm :-( stupid metal basket. they should be banned! it wouldn't stop bleeding after 3 hours but when i woke up it was... dry and crusty. isn't that a bad description? oh well, could be worse. it's still quite flakey, come to think of it. ewww. and boredom just drove me to count the number of people on msn that have me on their lists. and the grand total is 99. which, really, has got me thinking, why on earth i have 40 on my list. maybe i got carried away, deleting the other 59 of them... anyway oh my goodness. i just realized that i typed quite... a bit. isn't that such an oxymoron?

quite a bit.

anyway yes, i'll shut up now. bye bye!

WAIT! ONE MORE THING! LORD OF THE RINGS TOMORROW! TOMORROW! TOMORROW! i think i'm going to wake up early for once!!!!

well, maybe not, when i really think about it, because i'm watching it at 1:40. oh, well.

you know, i never

mentioned this, (well, at least i think i haven't...) but did i tell any of you that on the second day of my india trip i lost half a tooth? oh, well. now the whole world knows. (yes, even if the chipped tooth that's left is actually all the way inside my mouth and no one can really see it...)
|

bloated

yes, like a pufferfish. i have eaten so much food today. i feel kinda sick. oh, look! my fax machine is trying to work! (it just made some crackly noise. it's quiet now...) (oh. wait! PAPER IS COMING OUT!!! this is a miracle!!! and there's another page...) well, anyway. all you little people (ha, if that isn't the understatement of the day) are having your dear finals now. tralala! hahaha sorry, i feel very strange now. maybe it's because i finally went to take my ic picture after, say, a month? (actually my dad had to call the proper place where they make the ic thingies to delay the time i go do it because we would be in india at that time) anyway, anyway, anyway. oh! i bought the by the tree cd (i wasn't that interested but i listened to the tester thingie and it was really nice) and some girl power book. aaaackkkk!!! msn is spazzing out on me! AAAAAACCCKKK!!! pffffft. i just forced it to quit. stupid annoying bill gates and his i-love-windows-and-only-msn-shall-work-wonders-on-windows policy thing, which is very unfair to wonderful mac users (like me) who use his stupid msn (like me). anyway i better get off the computer now. bye bye!

three hours on

and i'm still trying to make the cd cover for my mom.

:-(

congratulations, meg! i'm so proud of you! *coughcough*

anyway, i just made this post for the sake of it. bye bye now.

he he he! (in the fashion of meg's ho ho ho...)

i can't say that the weekend was interesting, because meg already has used that word. better not to be repetitive, right?

yes yes.

oops, i meant yes. anyway, we met up with timothy (had to call him to check for tim's present) (which, by the way, has been bought, which is a complete miracle) and then we met up with kiyoko. but meg's already mentioned that.

i just had pie for dinner, so this post is actually taking ages to be... uh... posted.

aaaaanyway, i met austin and isaku when i was waiting for 36 (which took exactly half an hour to come - when it did, i found out that practically the entire bus stop was waiting for it too), and they were walking around looking for free stuff. (it worked, they had two bags of free popcorn and when i later saw them go past the bus stop again isaku was carrying some sony micro vault organizer thingie thing) and then when i actually got onto the bus, naturally i had to stand up, and i just HAD to stand in front of two maids who couldn't stop staring at my nails, and later on in front of this very non-male-looking man. or gay. i'm not really sure, and i'm glad i'm not. and then when i actually did get to sit (by then there were only 3 more bus stops to go till i was home), i just had to sit underneath this massive bug with the pointiest butt ever.

i haven't done much today, just changed the bedsheets and made christmas cards... well, i tried to. my dad's watching "in the beginning" now and all the men (actually, the show is mainly male) have black eyeliner on.

my mom wants me to make her some cd cover now, so bye bye!

The Thundercats

will not leave me alone.

whatever that meant.

i'm at meg's house now, in my jammies, listening to I'm Lion-O.

anywayanywayanyway! yesterday was very interesting.

in ter est ing . . ..

i'm sleepy.

oh, right, yesterday. what happened again?

i woke up at 7.

i went to ics with meg.

and isaku.

i'm spacey! i'm spacey!

see?

anyway, i sat in all the classes.

but mr moore made me do art (we had to draw stuff with our left hands, and clever me, i had to pick a PLANT.), and mr goode proclaimed that "she's still alive. let's give her a clap."

and i don't think tim has ever gotten over my shortness or something. (seems like that word is mentioned in every ruth-sees-tim-and-talks context).

and carol (aka goliath just because i'm boaz) recently discovered the real reason why she calls herself goliath when she meets me.

the chicken rice at the cafeteria was pretty good.

black socks are not the only nice things in the sock world, mind you.

i love my nails! (currently: pinky-green; fourth finger-navy blue; third finger-light purple; index-bright red; thumb-white with red polka dots) (rejoice for testers!!!)

ok anyway i'm sick of spacing so much. we went to sarah's house after school and spent a loooong time doing our nails for no reason. by the time we actually left to go meet up with anna, it was raining. naturally, we ran in the rain. well, ran/walked. but it was more on the ran side. anyway, anyway, anyway. sooo we met up with anna. and i spent ages on my rubbish phone talking to kiyoko, just trying to figure out how exactly we were gonna meet. we only met up when, before going to pacific plaza, we saw ed and eddie and kurt and stephen and austin and ... and ... who else was there? doesn't matter. anyway when we were at pacific plaza SHE met them so it made it a lot easier to know that she was with people we knew. or something like that. am i being longwinded? i think i'm being longwinded. must be because i'm short, so i'm making it up by being longwinded.

does that mean i'm shortunwinded?

ha, ha, silly me, ha, ha, not funny.

maybe i should just leave you all (maybe i should have typed yall) (or not) alone and get booted off the computer.

but before i do that, i have to say that ian's band One Inch Punch is very interesting. one bit of their gig was ska-ish. but not quite, because WHERE WERE THE TRUMPETS??? oh well. and austin got yelled at for moshing.

moshing all by himself.

on the wet field.

with all these malay people on the left side on the pavement, smoking their lives away.

we never got to see stephen and austin do their Thing because we had to go. :-(

and i have to go too, because meg is out of the shower and i can finally, finally, finally, get out of my very nice and comfortable jammies and stop wasting all your time. :-) bye bye!

turtle

well, i feel like one. and here's a tribute to turtles again, this time in their original colour:

my backpack is very, very, very, heavy.

anyway! i'm at apple centre now, not like that is very fun or anything, but that i'm gonna go watch the choir thingie opposite borders later on at 8. provided it stops raining.

i've
been
up
since
eight
in
the
morning
.

i know, i know, all you poor still-have-to-go-to-school people, you were up way earlier than that. oh well, i can share your pain with you tomorrow cos i have to wake up the same time as meg - it's time for my annual (i figured as much i might as well call it that since i've been doing that for two years running) whole-day visit to ics.

tralala.

anyway, so here i am, with my heavy backpack that is making me feel like a turtle, with some finding nemo game playing in the background, blocking the way of interested to-be-apple-lovers-soon customers, who are looking at this computer.

hahahahhaha, the evils of internet attraction.

i've actually had an interesting day so far. not like any of you would like to hear about it, but oh well.

i'm tired.

there's this window (iPhotos) open behind this safari window, and it's a photo of strawberries.

they look pretty nasty.

i am the epitome of cloppiness*

*anna gave me her cloppy shoes. they are very cloppy.

i'm too lazy to type about india. :-( so if you want to ask me about limbless people and extremely annoying salesmen, just... ask me or something.

i'm sleepy.

oh! and thank you very much tim for that welcome back! (ha.ha.ha.)

i'm very sleepy.

here's some enthusiasm:

I'M SO VERY SLEEPY! HEE! HEE!

awesrfgngumjgkjg.....................................................

ok, maybe i can type some more. just a little bit. to annoy you all. :-)

let's see... after typing my last post (on thursday, the day i got back), i fell asleep at 5 pm, and woke up at 10:30 am the next day. fun fun! and i lazed around...

and called exactly thirteen different people, just to try and get hold of meg so we could meet up.

and when i finally did, i had to go on 36 (of course i missed public transport here!) (oh, the perks of enthusiasm...) and i saw nat! :-)

and i met meg 45 minutes late (ahem, blame the bad traffic)

and then we (meg, nat, and me) suffered in a traffic jam on 174 and got to the christmas service late.

but nat got to see mitchell and abby, anyway.

and lauren was caught eating her indian candy "discreetly".

and mio looked constipated.

and the kids could sing pretty well.

and abby looked extra tall.

and tim's mom told me i was the "littlest of them all" then put her arm around me to protect me from anna baker's violence. (tut tut, anna!)

and mimi was wearing heels? (i'm running out of things to say already)

and me and meg hung out with step hen (isn't that such a great name? i'm sure we all think so) and an na.

and we got home really late.

and slept really late.

and woke up really late.

and got to youth really late.

i'm still sleepy, i'm getting too boring, and i think i'm going to raid my freezer.

no, not for pie.

i...c...e... c...r...e...a...m... *drool*

people

I'm BA-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-AAA-ACK!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is almost unreal. i mean, i only saw the Taj Mahal yesterday. i have too many things to say! i have been deprived of any internet activity (oh no, computer geek me is beginning to shine through, oh no, oh no!) for the past eleven days, so i'm sure all of you can expect that my fingers are trembling in excitement over this wondrous white keyboard.

and hotmail has gone all weird. nice, but weird. i'm actually getting lost in that stupid site. anyway, i'm quite sure i don't want to be caught rambling on... and on... and on... about how bill gates is trying to be hip by getting me, the deprived geek of internet activity, LOST on his supposedly comprehensible free electronical mail site.

anyone missed me?

*ahem* so, anyway! where to start, where to start, where to START?!?!

Monday, 24 November
well, let's see... i had to wake up at 4:30 a.m., which was actually totally unfair considering my mom was still knocked out on the sofa when i came out of the shower, freezing in my towel.

you know what? stuff the details, let's get down to the actual thing, as in My Trip To India And Back (Alive).

we got to india at about 2:30 p.m, which was already very tiring considering we all had to haul ourselves to the airport at 6 a.m. (and not forgetting that Delhi time is 2 and a half hours behind Singapore time)

first impression: nice weather! (it's actually winter there right now, which explains why my legs are ... scaly-like, and why my face is actually still shedding it's flakiness) (that sounded gross, so never mind)
at second glance: it wasn't smelly or anything (all you awful people out there, thinking that it would smell) from people, but from the pollution. (blahblahblah, here's information from my mom: delhi is the fourth most polluted place in the entired polluted world.) there were cows EVERYWHERE (i really do mean everywhere, you know, like how we have tons of stray cats here? cept in delhi it's dogs - ohh the dogs there are so CUTE! - and cows. and cow poo. but enough of that.)
and then: it was so sad, going by in this van-like taxi, going past all these homeless and armless and legless people. i mean it was only the first day and i was gonna go all emotional. so i got all sad, then i later found out that after a while, people who live in india just ignore these people because these poor people subject themselves to their own (that's what they believe) "fate" because they believe that that's their karma or something like that. it still got sad and everything, but sympathy could only go so far... (especially when there are 15 000 000 people in delhi) ANYWAY, enough sadness. we took the cab to A-17 Guesthouse, Defence Colony - and got quite a shock. the place was way, way, way better than what we (me, rachel and jeanne) had expected, it had hot water and three beds and a telly with CABLE and really nice people working there and it was all cosy and nice and stuff... so we put our things down and headed to some ancient methodist church where the meetings were gonna be held and i saw Asha and Zoë and they look so different!!! zoë's hair is bright red and she has a nose ring and asha's so pretty now with her long long long hair and HUGE eyes and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was weird seeing them. hahaha anyway meg just called! and i just talked to her and timothy and lauren! hahaha it's wonderful, you know, when the first second thing they say is, "what did you get for me??"

yes, anywayananwaywayanywan! i think i have too much to type about...

so on monday night we chose not to hang out with all the people from Nagaland, Qatar, and Dubai cos we were all bombed out from the flight and all.

uh... what else happened?

you know what, maybe i should just post something else later? this is getting tiring. hahaha i really need to go shower cos it was an overnight flight and i'm still in my airplane clothes (i know, so nasty) and my dad's giving me ok yes very bad looks yes must go BYE!
