the painful pain that comes with painting

well, 10 of us went to johor baru to paint the house again. much fun that was (literally and figuratively), considering:

1. my brother is back!!!!!
2. i was the only girl there. i sorely missed my buddies :(
3. we ate so much food in between painting i got a bad tummy ache
4. there wasn't any stereo because kevin murphy wasn't there with his unlike friday, so no music

before we went to the airport my parents met up with the mckellars to have coffee so i was bored and went to the bookshop and got 2 handy books:

csi calls. it's 9:53 pm. i took ages to type this out. b-y-e!

"which candle is most me?"

an insightful question to ponder over. i'm running out of cool and witty titles because i lack coolness/wit.

meg has already covered the cow-poop-splattering (she didn't get much of it... rachel and i did), the painful finals yesterday (figuratively and literally), and has reminded me about how i got mad at a purple stuffed toy last night.

i hate Peace the purple Tender Tails with a passion. i have not gotten back at it yet... just watch out... *sneer* and no meg, you are not worthy of being sacrificial enough for it. even though blue permanent markers can be washed out with a good scrub.

it's the grossly ugly one on the left.

anyway, i have commenced the uploading of my cds. i am tired and it's only CD #10! ack!

there's a very feeble-looking bug struggling to walk on my brother's craig's brother cd (ha-ha-ha)... i hope it DIES! hahahaha! haha!!!! ha.. ha.. do i do sinister well?

my godsister has already made it a priority (she's 9) to stay over at my house for two nights sometime this week... oh, the joy of having a slumber party with a 9-year-old girl who recently bought pointy boots from hong kong! sheer satisfaction i will receive when i claw her in the middle of the night instead of scratching my leg. (just kidding, lisa. i love you and everything, pointy boots and all.)

i am returning to malaysia on tuesday to get *gasp* covered in cow poop and paint again! the joy, the ecstasy, the fun! actually i really am looking forward to it, poop and paint and pain and all, because it's a million times funner than being a rotter at home, which i fear i will become.

then the name redundant ruth won't be a joke anymore.

www.yankeecandles.com has been the hot topic for this evening. are you hot for candles? *wink wink*

this is so bad, i'm turning into my dad... i have punned 643135 times already unintentionally. AND THAT RHYMED! the first part of the sentence. talk about being a born lyricist for cheesy raps.

michael card

who is that man? he sang el shaddai and some other songs. wow! exciting!

anyway, that was a random moment. no, it wasn't an organized random moment. or planned. anyway, meg and i spent as good as the entire day at uwc - from 9:50 a.m. to 5 p.m. watching (she played one game though) the isibl finals. my head has been impounded with the chants "defence" and "let's go kni-ights, let's go" for the rest of the day.

i'm listening to a song called "dead by dawn" and it doesn't really make sense, because i can't hear what's being sung/screamed.

it also doesn't make sense that i'm at the breakaway site now - it's for guys and i'm a girl. pretty interesting articles on same-sex marriages (augh, gross) and tooth and nail.

your eulogy is like poetry
but your mouth is like a magazine

raw rock really kills

hoopla
hustle
hohoho
"hot and hungry" (not very intelligent conversations today with alana, whom i barely see or talk to.)

about nihilism

wow, talk about the extreme form of anarchy. i think it's crap.

ignorant people who twist their own opinions to shape senselessness = pro-nihilism.

my equation of the day!

showbread makes me feel funny.

Keep Your Underwear On

after 5 and a half hours of sitting in front of my beloved computer:

it's been a long day.

also, eventful -

1. woke up to the sound of workers hacking the awning off outside my windows (thank God for curtains)

2. the kitchen got flooded

3. some strange person rang my doorbell non-stop for an hour to which i ignored

4. the construction workers upstairs threw debris down the pipes which made an awful lot of noise

5. had a very heated discussion on Christianity with dave the madhatter

6. and my brother showed me his housemate's site. that gave me a stomach ache because i was sitting here in my chair home alone wheezing at what the guy writes.

the bugaloos

that was an old tv show. i only know it because of my brother's saturday morning cartoons cd. rhoob's back in less than a week! he's bringing these back for me:

gross, what kind of shade is this brown? oh well.

i neglected cooties for tim's site yesterday. it has finally revived.

i am currently discovering the very good side of hardcore/punk. it's so unchirpy to what i normally listen to, but it's so nice.

guys game today at uwc was veryveryveryveryveryveryvery good (isaku scored 2 points in the last 5 seconds to break the tie), and my white pants got dirt on the butt part. figures why you never wear white pants and sit on the bit of the bleachers where people put their feet.

what in the world am i going to do in this half a year i have free? i'm sitting here stewing.

it was a nightmare cleaning out my room just now with my mom but it's very nice to see all these unwanted worksheets and textbooks in paperbags to be recycled. i don't want to use the word therapeutic, but it was. HA! BYE BYE, SCHOOL AND REMNANTS OF IT IN MY ROOM!!!

who even reads this anymore? buffabelgbagmeaaafasd... i need more sleep.

achtung - the only german word i think i know

!!!won tsuj emag citsatnaf a hcus saw ti !!emag doog a saw taht

i ditched graduation night to go to the inner depths of the german school to watch the guys win! win! win!

pardon, unnecessary enthusiasm sparked by newfound freedom. i can't believe i'm at home now doing nothing.

overactive brain in action
why does the german school have this mini-forest within it's compounds? it seems kind of potential tourist attractiony. hey, they could actually make money by charging people for - wait, what am i talking about, it's a private school.

food for thought... oh, how i hate that line.
i had a bagel for dinner. cheerios have been my breakfast staple.

nice thing to know at the end of your tiring day
i think my bunny is dying. he's learning how to play dead too often... or maybe it's just all that fat in his tummy.

continuitationism

so, as i was saying last night before my mom completely hijacked the computer,

my life as of this week has changed drastically. haha! i'm being dramatic! crubber.

1. i can watch nc-16 movies now, although i see no pomp in that because movies have that rating for sex and violence, two things i don't want to fill my brain with because i can.

2. i can also play pool legally - not that i've been doing that ever since i learnt in june.

3. I AM RID OF MY SCHOOL FORALMOSTEVER!!! i have slogged (hahaha) it out with those gross pink-coloured walls and grey floors and strange teachers for ten years, only to do a bunch of papers in three weeks at the end of that decade. (whoa, i've been in my school for a decade. very odd to think of it that way.) except the fact that i have one more paper tomorrow that, i repeat, is unstudyable for. i promise.

i feel so reponsibility-less now, since all i actually had to do previously was to go to school and get gratifying (and perpetually gruesome) grades. alliteration not intended.

so now that i have less responsibilities - washing the dishes and keeping my room clean are still obligations - i have to turn my room upside down and clean it inside out, do the dishes every night (ha, mom wishes), and clear out my itunes of weird songs i don't know why i kept.

anyway, recap of interesting life-changing week (am i actually blogging for real? this is strange) will commence now.

last sunday

i turned 15 years and 364 days old, and celebrated that by staying out till (relatively) late. meg, rach, and i watched bride & prejudice, shot weird videos at the back of the bus, and nearly got run over.

monday

oh bugger, who is even going to read this? oh well, it's fun to type since i've been quite deprived of it lately. monday was my sour sixteenth, and meg and rach and timothy and me went to nydc to have lunch, and then we walked around tapping people, and rach left which was a sad event, and we went to dfs for who-knows-why, used the hotel bathroom, tapped more people, ran away from a strange still man when the lights went out, went to zara, watched the incredibles (which is when tim came half an hour into the movie), stood in the middle of the street doing nothing, and then went home. i love birthday days.

tuesday

i had 2 clb papers. that's it.

wednesday

pretended to study chem.

thursday

actually studied chem.

friday

did the chemistry paper and spazzed out (not as bad as some other girls) when it ended.

saturday

rotted around town with meg after worship practice, then came home to laze.

so that's about it. my ever-enthralling week. it's actually 8:27 pm now, because i have been talking to tim and meg about ridiculous things on msn. i neglect blogger sometimes, but oh well. i'm beginning to not make sense, and that's a bad sign.

back to front

hello smellos!

NO MORE CHEMISTRY EXAMS EVER!
NO MORE BIOLOGY EXAMS EVER!
HOPEFULLY NO MORE MATH EXAMS EVER!
HAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, exams are beautifully nice to be over with, especially after going to school for ten years just to take these exams that are now over. haaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway, my clb listening comprehension on monday is, like i have reminded a lot of people, unstudyable for. it's a fact, sweeties.

me and meg just got back from orchard, where we looked highly geeky carrying books we dutifully borrowed from the library. :D

also, it's dinner time. so i will be more longwinded later on in another post (oh, i miss posting).

rasra=argkjnms,awerjalewuiojrk@

I HATE CONSTRUCTION WORK, EVEN IF THEY ARE BUILDING SOMETHING PRETTY. STUPID DRILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STUPID HAMMERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STUPID STUPSDIFJOSIDJLGKASMH
AT 9 AM, MIND YOU!!!!!

who EVER wakes up at that hour, except the poor people who have to endure that painful procedure of being shocked awake by DRILLING.

/ kimberly ; number five with a bullet. says:

harharrr. why did you want to wake up so early anyway?

an eye for an eye? we'd all be blind. says:

I DON'T KNOW
because of the stupid drilling!!!!!!
oh my word
i feel so..
pent-up

well... anyway. monday will be my sour sixteenth! i feel very unsixteen, and very unfifteen. so that makes me... of an undecipherable age.

i don't know why i just put that there in the middle of my post, but that's meg and me in the reflection of my mom's awesome oven, while meg smsed and i baked brownies (*sob* it was supposed to be teamwork). when they were nice and baked and happy (brownies are happy?) we put chunks into ziplocs for rach and jeanne and we wrote various spellings of "happy valentines day" (it is possible in this society), and that was in october.

i have spent an entire hour since waking up going to weird people's xangas. you'd be surprised where links take you to. i went to the guitarist of the supertones xanga (AAAAAH! SUPERTONES!!!!! MY SUPERPONIES!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!) (anyway) and then clicked on a lot of links like the drummer of bleach (BLEACH! I LOVE THEM TOO!!!!!!!!!) and then his girlfriend's and then her little brothers (he looks like a better looking elijah wood) and then his girlfriends (she's some model) and...

you know, in the time i took to get to know random people's relationships and look at strange pictures of them,

i didn't eat my breakfast.

what is wrong with me!??!!?

i've been eating bagels EVERY MORNING and i'm not sick of them. :-)

bagel time. au revoir.

fruitflies - for real

my mom and dad just spent twenty minutes in the kitchen chasing fruitflies and trying to get rid of them, by sniffing the rockmelon, lighting candles, pouring liquid lysol, blowing out the candles, thwopping the rockmelon with a tea towel, and climbing on chairs to see where more candles were.

seriously, the people in this household are getting weirder.

jeff brown me too (what kind of song lyrics are those?)

shame on me and rach! we went to watch princess diaries with meg just now, but after i bought me two new cds (so satisfying) and before buying rabbit food.

cds:

i completely wasted today, and there is a pile of Jokes and Riddles, printed nicely in black and red with weird cartoon drawings, sitting in front of me. so nice.

i have come to the conclusion that sum 41 is a radiopunk band. because we're all to blame is probably the most punk song (besides green day and their ridiculous eyeliner does not count) they have played on radio (as far as my ears have been concerned, what with my anti-radio stance), but in their chuck cd they have a few slow songs, and COME ON, WHICH PUNK BANDS PLAY SLOW SONGS?

ok, maybe you can prove me wrong, but punk bands play slow songs as a joke, or to sing about... some stuff. i don't know.

but then again, if i don't know, why bother making a post about it?

bugger. goodnight.

bathroom, birthday, bush, and exams.

so bush won. that is good.

exams suck like a vacuum cleaner. thank God they'll be over soon. i mean, i've already written 6 papers, and it feels like they haven't even started. weird, i know.

my bathroom is looking good now, with cute little tiles (did i just call tiles cute?) that have leaves on them.

but anyway, i've missed my computer. it had to be covered in this plastic sheet (my mom picked a nice clear one, not those tacky looking ones with fish patterns) because of the stupid bathroom work, which is over now, hence me sitting here typing on this gorgeous electronic and highly technological device.

and it's my mom's birthday today, and we had the most excellent dinner last night. seriously, it was so good. we ate at dan ryan's and we ate so, so, so much.

10 days to my birthday - sour sixteenth, mind you. bugger it, my tagboard won't load. tagboards are bad.
