people

I'm BA-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-AAA-ACK!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is almost unreal. i mean, i only saw the Taj Mahal yesterday. i have too many things to say! i have been deprived of any internet activity (oh no, computer geek me is beginning to shine through, oh no, oh no!) for the past eleven days, so i'm sure all of you can expect that my fingers are trembling in excitement over this wondrous white keyboard.

and hotmail has gone all weird. nice, but weird. i'm actually getting lost in that stupid site. anyway, i'm quite sure i don't want to be caught rambling on... and on... and on... about how bill gates is trying to be hip by getting me, the deprived geek of internet activity, LOST on his supposedly comprehensible free electronical mail site.

anyone missed me?

*ahem* so, anyway! where to start, where to start, where to START?!?!

Monday, 24 November
well, let's see... i had to wake up at 4:30 a.m., which was actually totally unfair considering my mom was still knocked out on the sofa when i came out of the shower, freezing in my towel.

you know what? stuff the details, let's get down to the actual thing, as in My Trip To India And Back (Alive).

we got to india at about 2:30 p.m, which was already very tiring considering we all had to haul ourselves to the airport at 6 a.m. (and not forgetting that Delhi time is 2 and a half hours behind Singapore time)

first impression: nice weather! (it's actually winter there right now, which explains why my legs are ... scaly-like, and why my face is actually still shedding it's flakiness) (that sounded gross, so never mind)
at second glance: it wasn't smelly or anything (all you awful people out there, thinking that it would smell) from people, but from the pollution. (blahblahblah, here's information from my mom: delhi is the fourth most polluted place in the entired polluted world.) there were cows EVERYWHERE (i really do mean everywhere, you know, like how we have tons of stray cats here? cept in delhi it's dogs - ohh the dogs there are so CUTE! - and cows. and cow poo. but enough of that.)
and then: it was so sad, going by in this van-like taxi, going past all these homeless and armless and legless people. i mean it was only the first day and i was gonna go all emotional. so i got all sad, then i later found out that after a while, people who live in india just ignore these people because these poor people subject themselves to their own (that's what they believe) "fate" because they believe that that's their karma or something like that. it still got sad and everything, but sympathy could only go so far... (especially when there are 15 000 000 people in delhi) ANYWAY, enough sadness. we took the cab to A-17 Guesthouse, Defence Colony - and got quite a shock. the place was way, way, way better than what we (me, rachel and jeanne) had expected, it had hot water and three beds and a telly with CABLE and really nice people working there and it was all cosy and nice and stuff... so we put our things down and headed to some ancient methodist church where the meetings were gonna be held and i saw Asha and Zoë and they look so different!!! zoë's hair is bright red and she has a nose ring and asha's so pretty now with her long long long hair and HUGE eyes and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was weird seeing them. hahaha anyway meg just called! and i just talked to her and timothy and lauren! hahaha it's wonderful, you know, when the first second thing they say is, "what did you get for me??"

yes, anywayananwaywayanywan! i think i have too much to type about...

so on monday night we chose not to hang out with all the people from Nagaland, Qatar, and Dubai cos we were all bombed out from the flight and all.

uh... what else happened?

you know what, maybe i should just post something else later? this is getting tiring. hahaha i really need to go shower cos it was an overnight flight and i'm still in my airplane clothes (i know, so nasty) and my dad's giving me ok yes very bad looks yes must go BYE!
