WEEDEOS!

awesome useless video #1

here's a stupider one. we were at spotlight and saw these things (if only, if only, if only meg's camera had sound):

awesome useless video #2

uh, this is jen and me boogie-ing to some ronan keating (life is a rollercoaster, i think) song as the credits rolled after we watched this crappy chick flick:

hhahahha oh auugh we are so retarded

awesome useless video #3

and this is the mother of all useless videos, rory and i were looking for party hats at carrefour and here is part 1 of our journey, the only part that was ever video-ed:

hahahahahha!!!!

You Are Not Scary

Not Scary!

Everyone loves you. Isn't that sweet?

How scary are you?

lazy, oh, so lazy

nick, jen, meg, nathan, ansell and i watched the spongebob movie this morning. i reckon spongebob humour should only be taken in small doses, not at one big shot. i laughed so hard my voice got worse.

i've been losing my voice the whole week... it just doesn't seem to like me.

my iPod is treating me well, impressing everyone with my gazillion songs seems to be the thing of the moment, however. i love my iPod!!! just like how meg loves hers and my brother his.

so lazy to type out everything we did last week because we just did SO many things. so here's just a recap:

monday:

i went to chinatown with rory and chanelle at 10:30 pm. we got bored and left at 10:40.

tuesday:

liam, rory and i hit the chinese gardens. it was a random place and i have a whole load of weird pictures.

wednesday:

rory got his iPod, gerrie got his dvd camera (it is sooo nice), and i got MY IPOD!!! and then12 of us went to clarke quay at night after the LTT session which was fantastic as usual, and we stayed out till 12.

thursday:

a whole bunch of us went to chinatown for lunch, but we ended up getting split up so it was just me, jules and rory walking around looking for a food place while everyone else ate at the food court. then we got party hats at carrefour for the dinner thing at night. that was strange, and fun.

friday:

last day of LTT, very very saddening. jason, jules, me, bonnie and rory went to little india for lunch. then me and meg and nathan and ansell and sarah and rory watched in good company, which was such a weird movie. i still don't get it, come to think of it... they played xbox and my dad came to pick me up.

saturday:

10 minutes of worship practice, then bonnie came and we went to the gig at hotel phoenix which was totally rubbish because the girls were all skanky and the guys were smoking - they were TWELVE. it was so gross. and then Fed played which was hilarious, and then meg and i and eddie walked around, collected rory from the y and then we met up with the rest of everyone and they played lan and then meg and rory and i went to play xbox where rory killed us at soccer (9-nil... i know, it's embarrassing).

sunday:

church, my house with 7 other people, beach, more weird pictures, plaza singapura, stayed out till 11, blah blah blah.. oh, and sad goodbyes.

you know.. i actually just typed out my whole week... so much for a recap. goodnight.

an oddity

we have more people from all over the world coming to this site than people from here. strange, but true.

another thing - meg kindly informed me triple nipple changed their name (thank God) to Fed.

For once.

meg and i were in the same place but we have different things to say! ha! ha! ha! you all should know that that is very rare.

anyway, my mom fussed at having to drop me off at ics on her way to church but oh well, i made it there and the very kind security guard let me through without telling the office. we sat around for a while, periodically getting up to run from this happy bee that liked peter's pants and shirt a lot. too much. even peter grew fond of it, because meg wanted to kill it with her useless calculator, and peter pleaded for mercy on behalf of the bee.

blah blah blah

(oh, and meg, here's a mini grammar lesson from your tactful best friend: you don't rant about something you like, because you would usually rant about things you hate or dislike. maybe you meant the word "rave"? ok, i'm done.)

and then we got to the garage studio place thing, and i am proud to say that i was the only one not part of the band who stayed in the studio the ENTIRE TIME! hyuk hyuk hyuk! josh was shocked i wasn't put off by their gaydom but hey, they're always like that. they all love each other, sometimes too much.

and then i got roped in to sing some awful songs i didn't know how to sing (the irony of my mind being subconsciously infiltrated by simple plan and green day as this ponk, er, pop-punk wave hits singapore... it's not working on me), while josh boogied around and pete howled and isaku got carried away while stephen tried to get our attention many times - but it never worked.

and the whole time i was wondering where meg was... in a loft with nathan and ansell! ayyyyy. so much for doing your homework, meg. i was in there the whole time semi singing and i got my sermon done! *gloats* but it's all good, i still love you. even though i was your bag lady for a while, and my alter ego is cindy crawford (without the spandex, mind you).

as we walked to taco bell, we saw a truck that can fit a maximum of 8,387 Nudies. we gawked at the truck for a while, before realizing they meant ice cream cones. meg and nathan then had a rather intellectual conversation about naming nathan's kid Nudie.

so we spent the rest of yesterday being loud, being quiet at the prayer meeting, being loud before project 70, and then ... hmmm... i don't quite know how to end that sentence.

well, my point is i actually had a good day yesterday. even if i had to go with my parents to their friend's father's funeral. which was a little spooky, because it was a buddhist one and i saw the dead body (gasp, eek, squeal). and i missed amazing race! maybe i should ask meg's bindy who got kicked out.

today better be good, because people who have JUST signed up for the LTT must get their name tags done, and tell me, who else but yours truly has to do the name tags?

goodbye.

hi meg,

would you like to buy me this when you get to california? *bats eyelashes*

anyway, my mom is telling me about how much rubbish we generate everyday. i'll take that as a literal term, because she just threw a heap of shredded paper into the bin.

meg's been busy and i've been semi-busy (believe it or not... it took me so long to finish the LTT name tags) and lazy. so whatever posts we have up are pretty much rubbish.

i spent the whole day wearing my eatable raspberry glasses yesterday, so i was a little woozy. i bought a spooky-looking book for $3.50! cheapy cheap! everyone should buy books from second hand stores, just because.
here it is:

LTT next week, isaku's band's show is next week, and... that's it. i am worn out from typing out 216354 names.

i bought a cd last week:

it isn't that great, definitely no where close to the glory of five iron frenzy, but it'll satiate my cd appetite for now.

and i want to buy 10 others, except this wonderful little country doesn't seem to accomodate the type of music i listen to.

ten years before my time

You Belong in 1978

1978

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!
1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.
1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

What Year Do You Belong In?

suits my suzy hair! i'm so lazy to type out anything i did today. blahbalhblahldhadlhaldbljdalfhjajldnvmads,sfhbbbbbbb...

langston hughes

i'm currently reading tim's research paper. here's an exclusive excerpt:

"Hughes even touched on sensitive and disturbing topics of racial conflict such as lynching. The poem “Three Songs about Lynching” depicted scenes of a lynching process. The poem protested the evil and injustice of lynching. Its tone was bitter over the façade of justice delivered that had caused so many black men to die. In the poem, the silent body of the dead man who was lynched was left out hanging from the tree. According to Heather Zadra, this body shows the blacks refusal to die the death that the whites had died of, an emotional death that destroyed their good judgment of human compassion and numbed their senses."

That's a deep part of the paper but that's all that's on the page now. and the whole paper is deep, anyway.

Right, have the rest to read... bye for now

hello, kidlets.

i was supposed to meet asha at 11 at the airport, according to drew.

according to drew, she was supposed to mail me her flight details.

she didn't. so my dad got on the phone with the lindeques over in india, trying to figure out where she and her parents were.

then it turns out that their flight was flying delhi-dubai-singapore-melbourne-auckland. what on earth? singapore slot: 1:45 - 3 pm. lovuh-ly. i miss asha.

anyhoo, here are some pictures that would make you feel like eating potatoes and chicken:

triple nipple's band photo (they all look like teeny kids) (oh, excuse their name) (apparently those girls at the side were checking isaku and stephen out. hahahahahhaha) -

and a lego house meg and victoria built last night. we used my dad's phone to take the picture out of desperation -
